David Masters built this little dingy and it was inteded, initially, for the motor launch "Bluebird of Chelsea". A balsa wood mould was made and the model was built around it from plastic card cut into planks to make it look clinker built. "But upon completion I was not satisfied with the end product". It was put aside until spotted by David 's grandson who thought it looked good. "So between us we built the little fishing boat, of which he is very proud" The crew were purchased to make it look like a working boat by David's grandson. |
