The Jean Tidman Challenge (Formally Club 500 events)

Announcing the revived interest in ‘Club 500’. Racing has returned to Rugeley Model Club!.
A large number of club members have recently purchased new craft for these events.
Another generous club member has very graciously donated a special trophy to compete for.
We are also chasing the number One (1) position for the following year. The races are to be run twice a month culminating in a run off with the top racers in a final at the end of the season. All the boats are to remain stock as supplied and a copy of both racing and construction rules can found on the Events page.

If you are a local Model Boat Club with a similar interests and fancy a challenge please get in touch and we can arrange a meeting.
At the moment we are only running ‘500’ class boats and these are stock. We are also running first past the post rather than the most laps raced.
Do not be put off by this as a compromise can always be reached!
